  • TRANSLATION
  • CASTING
  • RECORDING
  • POST-PRODUCTION
  • MUSIC

  • PRE-PRODUCTION
We work with you to establish both the big picture and details of the project.  This includes its scope and schedule, creative and technical requirements, and incidental milestones and deadlines.  During the pre-production phase, we will customize our process to fit your management style and ensure that our working relationship will be efficient and productive.
  • SCRIPT EDITING
Give us a draft and we’ll polish it to fit your educational objectives and your audience.

  • TRANSLATION
We have topnotch English-Spanish translators on call who can tailor their translation to a number of regional accents.

  • CASTING
We draw from a deep pool of gifted voiceover professionals and actors to find the perfect voices for your projects.  First we determine the pace, tone, and diversity your material calls for, and then select the ideal talents to bring it to life.

  • RECORDING
This is where it all comes together—preparation, director, technology, and artist.  We use only studios optimized for spoken-word recording.  And our directors know how to elicit the performance that will make the material accessible for your targeted audience.  Also, the recording phase is the first step in our quality assurance process, with engineer, director, and voice talent all checking to ensure that the content is recorded accurately.

  • POST-PRODUCTION
1. Editing: Using Digidesign’s Pro Tools software, our editors remove all distracting extraneous noises, refine the pacing, and perform another check for accuracy.

2. Music and Sound Effects: With the ability to produce original music or select from music and sound effect libraries, we will create the sound design that fits your budget and suits your material.  (And sometimes the best choice is no music or sound effects.)

3. Quality Assurance (QA): The final recording must match the printed text.  So, after the first two QA passes have been performed—during recording and editing—we listen one more time to verify the finished product.

4. Mastering: In this step we mix and fine-tune the audio tracks to make sure the end-user will enjoy clear and balanced sound.  When the sound is right, we format the files and deliver them the way you want them—e.g., CD or DVD masters, MP3 files, or uploads to ftp.

  • MUSIC

We can produce either your own music or public domain songs.  Or we can compose new music that suits your specific requirements and taste. We can also help you choose and edit music from many different licensed music libraries.
